In addition, the "woman in the red dress" is a sexual fantasy for the character who creates her in the Matrix. So, as the future is portrayed in this film, women have really not made any great strides. Is this truly what the future holds for us?
Finally, can society ever overcome the vast differences between men and women that seem so prevalent and ingrained? Smith seems to think so, but what do you think?
